Over 900 tantalising beers, ciders and perries to try 50,000 thrill seekers expected throught the door more than 350 British breweries represented at this extravaganza With headlines like this, it’s no surprise that CAMRA’s Great British Beer Festival claims to be Britain’s biggest pub. If you find The Great British Beer Festival (GBBF) a little tame. If it doesn’t cater for your taste in craft beer, The London Craft Beer Festival may be for you. Running from the 14th to the 17th of August at The Oval Space, Bethnal Green; The festival was born because “so much great beer made in the UK doesn’t get recognition it deserves”. Great British(?) Beer Festival

Trade day was busy, certainly busier than last year & it was hot, damned hot. As always I thoroughly enjoyed the day. Caught up with old friends, met some new ones, chatted and drank some good beers and some not so good. One conversation did get me thinking though. I happened to mention that I thought there were more foreign beers than the previous year.
