Tiny Rebel get first deal into the off-trade

Tiny Rebel have agreed to supply with the Co-op with two of their most popular beers. Around 80 stores across Wales will now stock Dirty Stop Out and, Cwtch – which last year won Champion Beer of Britain. The deal represents the first time Tiny Rebel beers have been available outside of the on-trade. The brewery previously reached capacity at their old brewery site, hampering ambitions of growth. With construction of a new £2.6m brewery on the outskirts of Newport well underway, capacity is expected to increase 5 million litres annually and allow expansion into the off-trade. BBPA Annual Awards 2015 Winners

Winners revealed in British Beer & Pub Association Annual Awards 2015 Grain to Glass award winner: Hogs Back Brewery Hogs Back scooped the award for their astonishing new hop garden at the brewery in Tongham, Surrey. The entry showed real innovation and a community focused approach, involving local people, highlighting the integrity of the product, and generating considerable interest in beer and how it is made.
