CAMRA announces regional finalists for Pub of the Year competition The finalists include two previous CAMRA National Pub of the Year winners, The Salutation Inn in Ham and the Swan with Two Necks in Pendleton. The four finalists are: George & Dragon, Hudswell: At the heart of the village, this homely multi-roomed country inn has a large beer terrace offering fantastic panoramic views over the Swale Valley. People power is saving Britain’s pubs – as 1,500 are granted additional protection A year to the day since new powers were introduced to protect pubs, the number registered as Assets of Community Value (ACV) is soaring, according to the latest figures from CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale.
