Last night (April 14th) the brewing industry celebrated its brightest marketing minds when breweries and agencies up and down the country attended the Beer Marketing Awards at London’s iconic Truman Brewery. The awards recognise the very best in beer marketing, with categories from best ad campaign through to best stunt. The judges, lead by beer writer, Pete Brown, included leading on and off trade operators, beer journalists, bloggers and award-winning marketeers. I can’t remember ever having a bottle of BrewDog beer! I’ve had the odd Trashy Blonde when I’ve seen it at beer festivals or in the pub and I’ve put some bottles in the prizes we’ve sent out in our search for Britain’s Best Beer but I’ve never sat and had a bottle, at home, for myself.
