Is it really two years since I was last at Hardknott Brewery when we brewed the first batch of Vitesse Noir? Barnsley Gold – An award winning golden beer V Conquest – A well-hopped, traditional IPA Acorn Brewery can be found in Barnsley, South Yorkshire and according to their website ‘is the home of meticulously crafted award-winning ales’. Barnsley Gold – abv 4.3% Pours into the glass a very nice clear (which can’t really be made out from the picture), golden liquid with a bubbly, rather than creamy, white head.
